Super Bowl Sunday

Hello All!

I hope everyone's Super Bowl Sunday was a great one! Personally, I couldn't care less about the game. Even the commercials don't really catch me. It's all about the people and the food for me! I was fortunate enough to have both this year- some really great people AND some really, really great food! Here are some highlights:

This is Adam. He is my boyfriend of 1 year and 7 months. I like him a lot. And he likes this chili he is eating a lot.

This is a big fish. We found him upstairs at the house we were at and fell in love with him. Not sure what kind of fish he was but he was so very friendly!

Then we got kind of bummed out for Mr. Big Fish because he should be swimming freely in a giant freshwater something. Like a pretty lake.

But then I gave him a kiss...

..and I think he liked it. <3

This is our friend Chas. He dances funny. And by funny I mean good. : ) Go Chas!

Busy Busy Cleaning Day!

Today was just as the title says... a BUSY BUSY cleaning day! Really shouldn't be blogging now - still have much to do before bed, but I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few things before I go to dreamland.

First and foremost: New Stuff at the Shop! 

Above is a new headband. Oh how I love it so and don't want to let it go! But I must... Japan awaits!

Hopefully someone will fall in love with it as much as I have. If not, I'll pack it up and take it to:

March 13th and 14th- I can't wait! It will be the first show I've done besides Strange Folk... well...ever!! Scary but exciting!

It is time to draw this post to a close...I still have to read John chapters 3 & 4 for my bible study tomorrow. Yikes! I also teach kids and preteens from 12:30-4pm. Busy busy day.

Of Chocolate and Cheese

Today was a very domestic day.

I stayed home from class to get a mountain of laundry and a bit of cooking done.

The highlight of my week so far - I FOUND RAW CHEESE AT WHOLE FOODS!! This was quite the find, because up until today I had not found anything containing raw dairy around this area at all. AND I had not been able to enjoy cheese without feeling super guilty in a LONG time. Swiss is delicious.

I shredded some and put it in my Broccoli/Onion Omelet today. Yum yum!

Brown rice tortilla. 100% Gluten free.

Then I decided I needed some chocolate in my life. There is nothing like some chocolate to boost your spirits when dealing with 109 children in the span of 5 hours (yes - this is my job).

Then I came home to find my doggy being super cute, and decided to share.
