Spring....almost

Yesterday was much different than the last time I blogged - beautiful and warm, even after I got out of church at 9pm.

Today? So very very different. Cold, rainy...cold..did I mention cold? And rainy? Yes? Okay. Just making sure.

But instead of posting depressing rainy pictures, I'll post the pretty springy ones I took yesterday:

Paper Cranes and Herbel Tea

Today was a very dreary day in southern Illinois. Lots of rain, wind and cold temperatures.

But I kept quite warm because my best friend in the whole world aka my boyfriend Adam returned from a week long visit home to Tennessee! Lots of kisses and hugs and a fun afternoon of grocery shopping at Whole Foods, some book browsing in the Loop, and a delicious Indian dinner at House of India. <3

As you can see I couldn't help but doodle on the disposable table cloth.

I'm also in love with my new one of a kind porcelain cup by Angelina of e.r.k.!

Inside the cup is the most delicious tea I have had in a long time - an organic herbal orange spice blend from Highland Nutrition Center. I bought these great reusable cotton tea bags so I can buy and steep all the loose tea I want!

Yum yum yum. I think I must go make me a cup now.

I felt very inspired today. And I have big news tomorrow! Stay tuned.

New Art!

Back again! Project Runway is the perfect background to getting some items listed on my Etsy. : )

New artwork! And as of today, all of the money made from my items, whether on Etsy or at a craft show, is going towards my efforts to go on a mission trip to Tokyo, Japan December 5th-18th 2010 through Jesus Film Mission Trips!!

Welcome to Amy Rose Miller.com!!

Hello everyone!

So I finally invested in my own domain name. Good times.

I have been a busy busy bee. I participated in the Indie Craft Revolution on March 13th-14th at the St. Louis Artist guild and met some fantastic people, including the wonderful Connie Boone of Museful Things and the incredible Shannon from Helicopter Studios!

Besides being by awesome people, I met a lot of amazing customers and saw some lovely fellow crafters! They are what make craft shows so worth all the hustle and bustle! : )

Now I'm trying to get my etsy site back on track and make more things.

Hope you all have a lovely last day of winter!
