Strange Folk 2012 pt 1

Wow. I don't even have words to describe how amazing this past weekend was! Strange Folk is one of those festivals that just keeps getting bigger and better each year. This was my 7th(!) year doing the show and it's kind of amazing to see what it has grown into. Not only do I get to display what I've worked on for the year and eat cupcakes for breakfast, but I get to meet amazingly talented people and live in a little crafty bubble for two straight days. It's kind of the greatest thing ever.

This was the first year I strayed from my typical black and white display..at first I wasn't sure about the pink but I really like how it all turned out! I also introduced some new Christmas ornaments. They sold out at the show but I plan on making a few more to put in my etsy shop

There was a great turnout! Saturday = 932132 people. Basically. So awesome.

This bird was so beautiful!

The lovely Chelsea and Kyle Bass (and soon-to-be-here baby Margot!) came to visit. Lots of friends and family came out to support me - you guys rock!

I met the beautiful Michelle from Creature Type for the first time when she stopped by my booth  - how amazing is her style?! She is an incredible illustrator as well! It was so great to meet you Michelle! (do you see her pins? Cats. And ice cream. Oh. my. word.)

Strange Folk is seriously my favorite weekend out of the year..thank you to everyone who stopped by to support me and take home a Bunnies and Bows creation. You have no idea how much it means to me!

I'll be back soon with some more pictures!
