We have a window seat in our teeeny tiiiiny apartment that offers a wonderful amount of extra storage. I hadn't made it into a proper sitting area though due to the fact that most of my crafting/painting supplies was stored underneath and it was quite a hassle getting in and out of it all the time.
That all changed on sunday afternoon when I decided I wanted my window seat to be...well,..a seat. I transferred the things under the bed (christmas decorations, off-season clothes, etc) to the confines of the window seat and put my crafting supplies under the bed for easier access.
I got out some quilts and padded it up then purchased the pillows you see above for under $5 from the thrift store down the street. Yay! I am so in love with the little white pillow it isn't even funny.
This is such a great place to read, draw..and yes, blog. Even if the window is covered with my husband's dying plants. ; ) Don't tell him they're dying though..because they aren't. There is "still some green" he says. Boy does he love those plants. And boy do I love him! : ) So there they shall stay.
I'm hoping to get lots of great new art drawn here in this cozy little space.
