Hello! My name is Amy Rose and I am a 23 year old art teacher and illustrator living in Illinois. I am deeply in love with my husband and best friend, Adam. He makes me laugh like no other and he's pretty cute too! I am a Christian and seek to put Jesus Christ at the center of every area in my life. We are members of August Gate Church here in southern Illinois, and are so blessed to have such an amazing church family! We try to eat real food in our home and almost every meal we make comes from this book. When I'm not drawing or teaching you can find me exercising, collecting cute things for my studio, watching Korean dramas (so addicted. It's a problem), thrifting, or studying Japanese (I know very little but enjoy it so much!).
This blog is mainly for sharing my artwork with the world and occasionally gushing about the things I love and find inspiring.
I started Bunnies and Bows: by Amy Rose back in my sophomore year of high school. It started out as a collection of felt accessories, mainly hand-stiched felt hair bows and little bunny pins. 2 years ago I began to incorporate my artwork in the mix, and slowly it has become the center of the shop. More recently I have begun to introduce shrink plastic earrings and rings - all hand-drawn! I have really enjoyed watching the evolution of my business and seeing how It has changed as I have grown. Hopefully you like it too!
