Tsuki Magazine July Issue

So one of my dreams sort of came true today.

If you have read my blog for a minute you probably know my deep love for Japan knows no bounds. Like, seriously. I love this place and it's culture. And I miss it every day! I am passionate about sharing it with others and Tsuki magazine is doing just that!

It's an amazing online magazine about Japan by the lovely Caroline Josephine, a terrific writer, model and blogger who is living and working in Japan.

And I'm so excited because the new July issue features two of my illustrations!

There are some seriously talented authors and photographers up in here.

So go pick up your copy today (use code: arigatou0710 for $2 off the cover price!

Thank you everyone at Tsuki magazine!

Best Friends Forever

Here's a commission I did for two of my art students, McKenna and Natalie, who are, indeed, best friends forever. : )

That one time I stayed in bed all day..

I woke up feeling a bit under the weather today, and instead of forcing myself to go do a billion things  like I normally do, I decided to take an actual "day off" (though I still cleaned most of the house and spent some time replying to work emails). The rest of the day I chilled in bed and watched movies, Big (a Korean drama I can't get enough of), and finished this photo garland. I have wanted to do this since the moment we moved in, and after I received my first order from Printstagram I was even more excited to get started! (Because seriously, these little photos are the cutest)

Now I must get to bed, because I actually have to accomplish things tomorrow.
